Nash's Blessing

Nash was bleesed on November 2. It was a rainy day, but beautiful! It was so wonderful having family and friends there to honor Nash on this very special day! Dustin blessed Nash, and it was absolutely beautiful! If I remember correctly (it has been 8 months) Nash didn't cry, and was very pleasant all day! We had over 55 people in our tiny condo, AMAZING that many people fit! It was a little crowded, but the love was very strong. Thank you to all who made the drive to Logan, it meant so much to us!!!

Nash was a Gold fish for Halloween! I had to alter the costume, it was made for a 2 year old! He is with his friend Tia, she was a Lion. Tia's mom and I worked together and were pregnant together!!! She was born two months before Nash, they are so cute! For Halloween we went to the Ward Trunk-or-Treat, then to the neighbors for a fun Halloween party! Nash slept the whole time!

Evening at the Orchard

Our little family went to a friends apple orchard a couple of weeks ago to take some family photos. My brother Paul was taking the pictures, and he kept saying they were really good! I wish I would have taken a look at them, because he has these really amazing backgrounds in 95% of them, and we all look really bad! This one was one of the better people ones! This was the first time we went to the orchard, we were able to pick some apples and have a fun time! Dustin has also decided that the little town of Millville, could possibly be our next home in a few years!

Our little dog Oscar, we have discovered, is very ferocious! He attacked the Nelson's black lab and Mastiff. For those of you who don't know what that is, look at Oscar, picture him the size of a Great Dane, and about 150 lbs! And yes, the Mastiff ran! Anyway, it was a lot of fun, but next time we get family pictures, we will use a different photographer!!

Happy Month Day!!

Nash turned one month!!! It was the most exausting, sleep deprived month of pure joy and happiness that we have ever had! He is the greatest baby. He may not have the best sleeping habits, but he sure is our ray of sunshine (day AND night)! Like all proud parents of little boys (and some girls) Dustin and I have been pee'd on and even pooped on our fair share, but what little Nash wasn't expecting, was when he pee'd in his own precious face! The pee pooled in his little eye, and was goopy for almost two weeks. Of course being a new mom, the doctor has been called many times. He said it was just fine, to rinse it, and check for redness. Nash has recovered, and so have we. So many fun and wonderful stories.

September 11, 2008

I was at my 38 week (September 11) check up listening to the doctor tell me I was only dialated to a three (I had been at a two the week before, and I told Dustin I had better be at least a four). I was not too happy about that. She was talking about what we could do. I had tested positive for strep B, so stripping my membranes was out. I was trying not to cry, I wanted the baby out! She was still checking me when I heard her say "Oops!" Oops what. Then OH! A large gush of water came out of me. Oops that! She accidentally broke my water. She kept apologizing, but I kept saying thank you! I was on my way to the hospital to have Nash.
I got to the hospital at around 11:30 AM, recieved my WONDERFUL epidural at 3:30 PM, started pushing at 9:00 PM and was a mommy at 9:45 PM! He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches. He was a little bigger than we were thinking, but well worth the work!!
